New Economy Class - Potpourri

This is the seventh session of our weekly class on A New Economy, which is facilitated by Derek Tennant. This class examines our current economic system and explores alternatives that may augment or replace it in equitable and sustainable ways.

In this class we will begin to wrap up the loose ends of our analysis of how our economy came into crisis. This week we will introduce some issues at the edge of the debate over how to correct the economy, issues that affect us directly. This includes issues such as taxation, energy’s impact on the economy, inflation and debt.
