Join Bay Area Green Tours on this spectacular Green Walking Tour of Berkeley. Get behind the scenes and experience local, pioneering, high impact models of sustainability in one of the nation's environmental epicenters, located in the heart of the East Bay's Green Corridor!

The Green Pioneers Walking Tour provides face-to-face interaction with Berkeley's local sustainability leaders and entrepreneurs. You'll experience a unique opportunity to meet the staff and get an insider's view of Berkeley's LEED certified buildings, sustainable restaurants, and other businesses involved with green transportation, e-waste recycling, and more. Tour stops include: Green Citizen, Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse, Gather Restaurant, Hotel Shattuck Plaza, The Bike Station, East Bay Bicycle Coalition and Pedal Express. We'll also visit The SkyDeck Innovation Center, YMCA's PG&E Teen Center, and The David Brower Center -- a solar powered, LEED certified building that houses world environmental leaders, including a stop at the shared work space HUB Berkeley.
