Revolution Books will be a distribution center for World Book Night on April 23, 2012 this year. Join us to make this a successful event!
This project aims to give away 50,000 books to people who don't normally read or have books. Volunteers will come and pick up 20 books of one title and agree to get it to people e.g. in communities where they don't get a chance to get books. If you want to be a volunteer, do it now! Register here to be a volunteer: The deadline to register is Monday, Feb. 6th at 12 a.m. EST.

What is World Book Night?
"World Book Night is an annual celebration designed to spread a love of reading and books. To be held in the U.S. as well as the U.K. and Ireland on April 23, 2012. It will see tens of thousands of people go out into their communities to spread the joy and love of reading by giving out free World Book Night paperbacks.
World Book Night, through social media and traditional publicity, will also promote the value of reading, of printed books, and of bookstores and libraries to everyone year-round.
We need book-loving volunteers to fan out across America on April 23, 2012! Just take 20 free copies of a book to a location in your community, and you just might change someone's life. Please sign up by Feb. 6 EST at midnight.
The goal is to give books to new readers, to encourage reading, to share your passion for a great book. The entire publishing, bookstore, library, author, printing, and paper community is behind this effort with donated services and time."
