Join us for the fifth session for a weekly class on A New Economy, which is facilitated by Derek Tennant. This class examines our current economic system and explores alternatives that may augment or replace it in equitable and sustainable ways.

In this session we will continue our discussion from last week to look into the root causes of today’s difficulties. There are both historical and structural reasons why the economy has experienced the tightening of credit, lower asset valuations, and increasing inflation. We will quickly see that today’s crisis is far more than “just a sub-prime mortgage problem”.

Suggested Donation $0-10 for the San Jose Peace & Justice Center to help them keep the lights on. No one turned away for lack of funds.
