An Occupy Song session will also take place from 12-2 PM featuring songs about Occupy Santa Cruz (bring your own!).

December 16th was Bradley Manning's first (and only) hearing after 17 months of incarceration for exposing military murder and diplomatic duplicity. The 17th is his birthday. There will also be a rally at 41st Ave. in front of the Capitola Recruiting Center at that time.

At the Re-Occupy Rally, I'll be taking recent accounts of police violence, seizure of property, and other human rights violations in anticipation of claims against the city and county from noon to 1 PM. I'm particularly interested in the seizure and destruction of homeless property and survival gear during the massive police attack on the campground on December 8th.

I'm just posting this notice to pass on the news and am not really any official or designated Contact Person. It was the OSC General Assembly that consensed on 12-13 to support the National Re-Occupy movement and act locally.

HUFF (Homeless United for Friendship & Freedom) backs the move. We'll be there and invite you to come too!

There is also a chance someone may show the movie Berkeley in the 60's as dusk falls if we get the requisite expertise and equipment.
