Occupy Santa Rosa is coming together with Santa Rosa's immigrant-led organizations to plan a mass day of action against Wells Fargo, for investing billions of dollars into for-profit immigrant detention centers and for continuing their unjust foreclosures, after receiving billions in taxpayer bailout money.
Finally, our wildest dreams may be coming true. The nascent Occupy Movement is coming together with many of Santa Rosa's immigrant-led organizations who have been struggling courageously for years. We are planning a mass action against Wells Fargo on January 6th and we want this to be huge! Can you commit to attending? Can you promote this within your own groups and social circles? Can you invite your friends via Facebook and help pass out flyers? This is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate what solidarity truly looks like. Check out and forward our Call to Action below, and please take 5 minutes to invite your friends to our Facebook event (if you're on Facebook that is).

This action is a joint-effort between Occupy Santa Rosa, the D.R.E.A.M Alliance of Sonoma County, Graton Day Labor Center, the Committee for Immigrants' Rights, MEChA de SRJC, and more!
We are protesting Wells Fargo for investing billions of dollars into for-profit dete ntion centers which imprison immigrant workers, while receiving billions in taxpayer bailouts and continuing with their illegal and fraudulent foreclosures. We will have a rally and press conference at Noon in the Old Alberston's Parking Lot off of Sebastopol Rd. in Roseland. We will then march to the downtown Wells Fargo in Santa Rosa.
