This Saturday, December 17, 11am-1pm, a demonstration will take place on the sidewalk in front of the Bed, Bath and Beyond at 2416 Watt (near corner of Watt & El Camino) protesting that they carry SodaStream, a product made in illegal Israeli settlements in Palestine's West Bank..
SodaStream is a home water-carbonation gadget that promotes itself as an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to buying soda. But there is nothing green about SodaStream being produced on stolen Palestinian land and also with exploited Palestinian labor. Moreover, Israeli illegal settlement industries regularly dump toxic waste into the land and water of nearby Palestinian villages. Here is a flash mob that was done at an El Cerrito Bed Bath & Beyond:

We'll have signs and our bulldozer, knocking down Palestinian homes -- home demolitions are one method Israel uses to steal more Palestinian land and drive out the indigenous Palestinian people.
