Fighting the rule of the 1% and police violence

From Cairo, Egypt to the Occupy movements across the U.S., millions of people have taken to the streets demanding social and economic justice and an end to the rule of the 1%. Everywhere these justified protests have been met with massive police violence. Everywhere the cops have defended the interests of the rich and powerful against the people. But nowhere has the tear gas, pepper spray, batons and rubber bullets (and in Egypt, live ammunition) stopped the growing numbers joining the protests – just the opposite!

Join us for presentations and discussion from participants in the Occupy movements and on the struggle in Egypt.

Desde Cairo, Egipto hasta los movimientos de Occupy por los EE.UU., millones de personas están tomando las calles demandando justicia social y económica y un fin a la dictadura del 1%. En todos lados, la policía ha defendido los intereses de los ricos y poderosos contra el pueblo. Sin importar los ataques de bombas lacrimógenas, spray pimienta, o balas de goma, en ningún luchar ha podido la opresión detener a los números crecientes uniéndose a las protestas—¡todo lo contrario!

Únase con nosotros para presentaciones y discusión de los participantes en los movimientos Occupy y sobre la lucha en Egipto.
