BOYCOTT Black Friday. STRIKE December 12th
Do not go to work on 12/12, Do not buy on 12/12, Gather together in Occupy Camps on 12/12, March and Protest.
Spread this news like wildfire.
See http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2011/11/22/18700779.php for more info on strike to be held in solidarity with Longshoremen:
"On December 12, the occupy movements in different cities will stage mass mobilizations to march on the ports, create community pickets, and effectively shutdown the hubs of commerce, in the same fashion that Occupy Oakland shut down the Port of Oakland on November 2nd, the day of our general strike."
Some of Our talking points:
1. Break the Banks: If they're too big to fail then they're too big to exist. Our words of power: anti-trust laws...re-enact the Glass-Steagall act...No Monopolies In Our Country...Separate the Commercial (99%) from the Investment (1%) Banks, We must not allow ourselves to be at the mercy of their derivatives traders!!
2. Derivatives trading is the 1%'s way of combining work with fun/gambling/betting. Say No More to our economic woes: eliminate transactions from mega bank commercial banking.
3. Charge for each Wall Street transaction. It's So Obvious.

I personally believe that the "talking points" you've listed are good. However, I also want people to know that most of the Occupy groups across the country do NOT have any such (official) points, that have been approved by their general assemblies. In particular, since this "event" is posted the same day as the Occupy Oakland port strike, people should know that Occupy Oakland does NOT have any such list of (official) points (at least thus far).
