WORKERS AND WAR
THE ROLE OF LABOR IN THE PEACE MOVEMENT
An open forum with discussion and brief presentations by

Al Sargis, Veterans for Peace

We have invited a panel of three speakers who represent different perspectives on this important question. Each will speak for 10-15 minutes, followed by open discussion. We will ask each panelist for a 3-5 minute summary at the end.

SAT, NOV 5TH, 2011 • 1 PM TO 4 PM
The featured panel will start promptly at 1:30 pm and the forum should end by 3:30 pm.

FREE! (But we will pass the hat & we ask that folks buy food & drink while at the pub.) FREE!

About Suds, Snacks, & Socialism at the Starry Plough; James Connolly, co-founder of the socialist Irish Citizen Army, said the significance of the Starry Plough banner was that a free Ireland would control its own destiny from the plough to the stars. We honor this revolutionary tradition symbolized by the Starry Plough as we continue the struggle against British and American imperialism. Besides, they have good beer.

The Peace and Freedom Party, founded in 1967, is committed to
socialism, democracy, ecology, feminism and racial equality.
