Please join us Wed. Nov. 2nd to honor Veterans of the Armed Services of the United States of America and to consider as a community the conflicts suggested in the subjects and title of the extraordinary documentary film, "Why We Fight", directed by Eugene Jarecki.

The film explores some very complicated relationships of people and economic conditions that propogate the growth and influence of the “military-industrial complex”; it does so in a well-produced, admirably non-partisan, let-viewers-judge manner, and arrives at the inescapable conclusion that we all have work—or at least thinking—to do. A discussion will follow the film for all those interested in sharing our responses and ideas.
