The BFUU Social Justice Committee will provide over-night shelter space for participants on Nov 4. There will be a welcoming “Pot Luck Dinner, Speak Out, & Discussion” with the Peacewalkers at 6 pm to celebrate their arrival in Berkeley.
Featuring deep ecologist, Buddhist teacher, & peace activist The walk is from Diablo Canyon to Sogorea Te/Glen Cove, Vallejo, California, 10/22 to 11/6.
Sponsors: San Luis Obispo Mothers for Peace;
The Terra Foundation; Indian People Organizing for Change (IPOC);
SSP&RIT, organizers of the Shellmound Walks in the Bay Area
and a successful 110 day vigil to protect the sacred site
at Sogorea Te/Glen Cove; Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Order;
and the BFUU Social Justice Ctee
Suggested donation $5-10. No one turned away.
