Calling all women committed to peace through nonviolence!
Your voice is needed. The "Courageous Women of Budrus... a Story of a Palestinian Village" whose women unite the most divided people on earth is in a GLOBAL ROOM FOR WOMEN teleconference series starting October 26. The story is an award-winning documentary by the same name and you can talk personally and directly to the filmmakers and activists calling in live from Jerusalem, Sarajevo, NYC, and DC.
We`ll talk about a model for nonviolence and that brought the Palestinians, Israelis, political parties, men and women into an international movement still gaining ground today. Please join us!
Women of Budrus Teleconference Series
Saturday, October 29 - Saturday, November 12
Have you ever wondered what your small steps could add up to?
....the Women of Budrus wondered too.
CALLING LIVE from Jerusalem, Sarajevo, New York, and DC
Ready for a rare opportunity? Join us for a SPECIAL LIVE Global Room for Women Teleconference as we have personal conversations with Just Vision`s award-winning film, BUDRUS - about a Palestinian village that succeeds through non-violence to save their land from the Separation Wall. How on Earth did they do it?
Stepping in front of a moving bulldozer with breathtaking courage, a 15-year-old girl, Iltezam Morrar galvanizes her Palestinian village, working with Israeli supporters, and inspires an international non-violent movement still gaining ground today! At first, none of these women knew where their steps would lead, but their courage grew as they took a stand! We`ll talk together about the power of our small steps of courage. Come and just listen if you like. COME AS YOU ARE!
Our Guarantee: We will refund your registration fee if you are not completely satisfied
The Women of Budrus are Irene Nasser, Julia Bacha, Iltezam Morrar, Ronit Avni, and Rula Salameh.
