Leon Phat, SF mayoral candidate, has money to burn, and challenges all of you to come along on a walking tour that presents specific public policy remedies for the root causes of the lousy banking practices that got us into this mess.
If you can talk your way out of agreeing with the fundamental economic soundness of the theory and moral justice of what you hear, the Leon Phat campaign will write you a genuine check for $1,000.
Be warned: every other mayoral candidate has declined this challenge, possibly because they know Leon's right and they would lose three hours of their precious time that they might otherwise use spending public financing dollars on door hangers, flyers and window placards. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME if you think the earth is the birthright of all people.
But if you come along on this tour, and get a load of how to public policy whip the big boys, the Leon Phat campaign will donate both $10 to the Occupy Wall St. food and materials fund and $15 to KPFA for each of you who attends.
