A free public forum aimed at informing, inspiring and influencing sustainable food practices and policies in San Mateo County. The Forum will be moderated by Adam Scow, California Campaign Director, Food&Water Watch. The panelists include Assemblyman Jerry Hill; Christopher Gardner, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Medicine at the Stanford Prevention Research Center; Kari Hamerschlag, Senior Analyst, Environmental Working Group(EWG); Jered Lawson, Executive Director, Pie Ranch; Kelly Toomey, Farmers' Market Manager, Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association.
In addition, there will be an informational booth at the CSM Farmers' Market from 9am to 12:30pm as well as educational displays by community organizations outside Room 10-195.
Wheelchair accessible. Free light refreshments.
