The Oakland General Assembly decided today that the people of Oakland will occupy Frank Ogawa Plaza at the corner of 14th & Broadway on Monday, October 10 starting at 4:00pm in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street, the many occupations underway across the country and Indigenous Resistance Day. Below are bilingual graphics to pass around to help get the word out about the occupation. There is also a PDF with a black and white bilingual flyer formatted for printing 4 up on an 8.5x11". They flyer also includes the announcement about the next planning meeting this coming Thursday at 5:00pm at Mosswood park. We expect to have workshops, food, music, childcare, a library and much more. Come ready to spend the night or just swing by to say hello. Let's do this Oakland style!
