Fight Rising Racism: from attacks on immigrants to Islamophobia?

Today, in a time of economic crisis, capitalist politicians are resorting more and more to racist scapegoating. Under the guise of "immigration enforcement," several states have enacted measures that hark back to the days of segregation. The Obama administration's "Secure Communities" deportation program has led to the deportation of tens of thousands of immigrants. Obama has already deported over 1 million undocumented workers more than all eight years of the Bush administration combined!

Racism and bigotry against Arab and Muslim people is on the rise. There is a direct connection between the demonization of Arabs and Muslims to justify the criminal U.S. wars on Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya and the racist attacks on these communities in the United States. It was recently discovered that the CIA worked with the New York Police Department to infiltrate and spy on every mosque within 100 miles of the city!

Actualmente, en un tiempo de crisis económica, los políticos capitalistas están utilizando mas y mas la victimización racista. Con el según propósito de “reforzar leyes inmigratorias” varios estados han pasado leyes que traen imagines de los días de segregación. El programa “Comunidades Seguras” de la administración de Obama ha resultado en la deportación de diez de miles de inmigrantes. Obama ya deportó mas de 1 millón de trabajadores indocumentados- ¡son mas que en todos los ocho años de la administración de Bush!

Racismo y discriminación contra el pueblo árabe y musulmán esta incrementando. Hay una conexión directa entre la propaganda contra árabes y musulmanes para justificar las guerras en Irak, Afganistán, y Libia por los EE.UU. y los ataques racistas contra estas comunidades en los Estados Unidos. Se describió que la CIA trabajó con el departamento de policía en Nueva York para infiltrar y espiar a cada mezquita hasta 100 millas fuera de la ciudad!
