Ecology Center, 2530 San Pablo Ave, near Dwight Way, Berkeley.
Come learn basic tips to feel more confident and independent commuting to work and biking around town. Learn to fix a flat while on the road, as well as do your own basic maintenance to keep your bike running smoothly. We'll demonstrate how to inspect your bike and what to keep in your repair kit.
If time allows, we'll also demonstrate the basic tuneup, brake pads, the chain, and more. Taught by Chris Thompson, Street Level Cycles Program Director, (http://www.watersideworkshops.org/wb/pages/bikes.php ).
Pre-registration ensures a spot. Please specify when registering if ASL interpretation is requested, (at least 10 working days in advance).
