Join City Slicker Farms for Collective Plate: An Evening to Celebrate 10 Years of Growth.

For 10 years, City Slicker Farms has been empowering the community of West Oakland to feed itself healthy organic food by creating high yield urban farms and backyard gardens. To celebrate this anniversary, City Slicker Farms is hosting an evening of good food, drink and entertainment at the David Brower Center on Thursday October 13th at 6pm. Join 10 of the East Bay's hottest chefs will each create a signature dish using local, seasonal ingredients. We'll honor 10 local heroes who have made a difference in the first decade of City Slicker Farms' work. The evening will feature local entertainment and delicious cocktails. Don't miss this celebration of food and farming in your own backyard!
