"RADICAL FERRY Vs. BART PO_LICE, All on Board" !
· Share · Public WHEN : Sunday Sept. 18, 2011
2 P.M to 4:30PM

WHERE : SF Ferry Building, by Embarcadero BART Station,
Muni Line 14 and 14L

WHAT :
RADICAL FERRY VS BART BLOOD BATH !!
All Aboard !
* A celebration of LiFE FREE OF OPPRESSION as it is intended to be for ourselves, friends, Elders & families !

WHY :

this event is a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Economic BOYCOTT,
hosted by Education Not Incarceration and Idriss Stelley Foundation,
and other community iondividuals & entities, in front of the SF Ferry Building;
encouraging folx, WHENEVER feasible,
to seek alternative means of transportation in SF and across the Bay.

HOW :

* USE THE FERRY !

* Use carpool hotlines to be picked up for work or to your kids school,
and back to your home or street corner;

* Call 311 or 673-MUNI to find out shortest route and schedules to get from point A to Point B in SF
(While still keeping our FREE MUNI Struggle going and support a Ballot measure for FREE YOUTH & Disabled FAST PASSES !);

* Walk, Bike, Skate, whenever possible,
and use your electric wheelchairs on city sidewalks to bypass exploitative transit systems all together !

*Disabled Sisters & Brothers in SF : Use the UCSF shuttle, and Paratransit scripts for their vans and taxi rides !

HOW:

Let's Stay Clear of BART_BLOOD_BATH and have fun together !

We are NOT seeking a city permit this time....
But will invite the alternative and corporate media,
so that any repression of our Right to Peaceful Assembly,
Joy & Celebration of what has made the pretty defunct image of a
"San Francisco, the Most Liberal City of the World"
will be caught on Candid and less Candid Cameras !

We envision chalk artwork on the sidewalk, clowns, rollerstakers, skateboarders, to draw attention to the Ferry being a healthy alternative to BART, and encourage people to use the ferry transit.

The BART protests are headed for more criminalization;

while we wholeheartedly support No Justice No Bart efforts,
and will continue attending Civic Center weekly BART protests thereafter,

BOYCOTT IS OUR ECONOMIC POWER
TO SEIZE & EXERCISE, NOW!!

Calling out all street performers & musicians, skaters, bikers, skateboarders, street clowns, Poets, sidewalk chalk art artists;

Bring Your Creative Juices, banners,signs and Revolutionary costumes !

Decorate your bikes and wheelchairs in Memory of Charles Blair Hill and the 5 other Stolen Lives at the hands of BART P0_Lice terror since its creation !

*** (Wink-wink)
all Radical Fairies out there welcome,

but it's RADICAL F-E-R-R-Y TIME !
