Music Spoken Word Potluck
If you can conceive of a world without America - without everything America stands for and everything it does in the world - then you've already taken great strides and begun to get at least a glimpse of a whole new world.
- From BAsics by Bob Avakian, Chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA
On August 6, 1945, the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan and on August 9th, it bombed Nagasaki, Japan. Over 250,000 were killed from the bombs and the aftermath. The U.S. is the only country in the world to drop nuclear weapons on anyone.
On the 66th anniversary of Hiroshima and Nagasaki: come together with others who refuse to accept this as the "best of all possible worlds" and join with others who are building a movement for revolution.
Donation: $5-$25. Tickets available at the door or at Revolution Books. Volunteers needed to help organize and publicize the event. Call (510) 848-1196 for the location.
