San Francisco documentarian Joan Juster spent a month in Madison documenting the historic protests this past winter, and building alliances with filmmakers, historians and protesters. In A MONTH IN MADISON she presents short films by a variety of filmmakers, and shares stories of her own experiences on the front lines of the protests. The films include mini-documentaries, rousing songs of solidarity, interviews with protesters, and never-released raw footage that shows what life was like in the Capitol.
A MONTH IN MADISON includes a display of protest signs from Wisconsin, donated for this presentation by the protesters. The monthly meeting of the Gray Panthers begins at 1:30, followed by this presentation around 2.
