Join Transition Berkeley for a potluck and movie: "The Power of Community: How Cuba Survived Peak Oil". The movie offers a fascinating look at Cuba's transition from a highly industrial society to a sustainable one. Cuba became, for them, a living example of how a country can successfully traverse what we all will have to deal with sooner or later, the reduction and loss of finite fossil fuel resources. Please bring a yummy dish to share for a potluck dinner; movie begins at 7:30, followed by a brief discussion and updates about the Berkeley Transition Initiative.

Time: 7pm - 9pm.
Location: Ecology Center Store, 2530 San Pablo Ave., Berkeley.
Cost: Free.
