The Cuba Caravanistas are coming to town!
Watch slides from their previous trips and listen to speakers talk about current issues in Cuba. This is a potluck so please bring a dish. The caravanistas will be hungry from their long journey! Also, they will need a place to sleep, so anyone interested in hosting a traveler or two please contact Shelby Minister, coordinator [at] sanjosepeace.org We will also be showing Power of Community, a film about Cuba's economic crisis as a result of the collapse of the Soviet Union as well as the change from an industrial agricultural system to one using organic methods of farming and local, urban gardens.
