EcoTuesday, a unique, structured monthly networking event for sustainable business leaders held concurrently in multiple cities across the country. We will feature Danny Kennedy from Sungevity, as our speaker in San Francisco this month.
Danny will discuss:
The Future of Solar Energy: Using "Fresh Sunlight"
-How SOLAR electricity will replace steam-based electricity generation
-Community supported energy and solar adoption as a social phenomenon
-The future of solar financing, including peer-to-peer financing of community solar
A little about Danny:
A long-time social entrepreneur, Danny has achieved global recognition as an environmental activist, spokesperson, and opinion leader. In 2007, Danny started Sungevity which is the fastest growing residential solar company in the country. Before that, Danny ran Greenpeace's California Clean Energy Campaign, the success of which helped lead to the current California Solar Initiative. Danny was the founder and first Executive Director of Project Underground and serves on several nonprofit boards and the Board of Solar Mosaic.
