Let's stop the war on the homeless and disabled by cutting off the funding of those waging it.

The 2012 Telegraph Improvement District budget, which city council will approve, contains a clause which will fund a joint program between the Telegraph Improvement District and the UC, which will target People's Park.
The Telegraph Improvement District has been trying to enact hate legislation that targets the poor and vulnerable, including sit/lie a sit lie law. There have been increased tensions and hostilities towards the poor as of late.
The city gives money to the Improvement District which gets used on programs which target and criminalize the poor.
Tom Bates: "There are these youth who don't want any direction or information for services to get off the streets. That's frustrating because they want to continue the lifestyle they have."

Jim Hynes: "You may make an appointment for them to get some kind of counseling, whatever it may be, but they'll cancel because they've decided to go to a reggae concert."
