Whether you’ve run out of yard space, have compromised soil, or just like the look, containers are a great choice for fruit and veggie gardening. Learn how to choose the right pot, the right soil, and most importantly – the right crops for containment. Instructor Johanna Silver experiments with all sorts of containers in Sunset Magazine’s test garden, from homemade self-watering ones, to galvanized steel, to turning straw bales into planting space.

For phone or email registration: Please call (415) 731-5627, or email info [at] gardenfortheenvironment.org. Or register in the garden the day of the workshop.
