Now that summer is in full force, its time to get into the garden and start pruning. Conquer your feelings of fear and bewilderment that accompany trimming-back plants! Learn strategies for recognizing different plant types and their appropriate pruning needs as a means of rejuvenating, encouraging or containing growth. Through an understanding of tools and techniques, pruning can help you maintain the health and vigor of your garden. Come join frequent GFE guest instructor Ann Kaplan for this encouraging class for the beginning pruner.

For phone or email registration: Please call (415) 731-5627, or email info [at] gardenfortheenvironment.org. Or register in the garden the day of the workshop.
