Radical science-fiction writers Kim Stanley Robinson and Terry Bisson will deliver a talk "The Politics of Science Fiction and the Left." Hugo and Nebula-awarding winning Bisson is formerly a Kentuckian living in New York; now he considers himself a New Yorker living in California. Davis, CA resident Robinson is a winner of the Hugo, Nebula and Locus Awards. His 11 novels include the bestselling Mars trilogy, and The Years of Rice and Salt. For his novel Antarctica, he was sent to the Antarctic by the U.S. National Science Foundation as part of their Antarctic Artists and Writers’ Program. Kim Stanley Robinson and Terry Bisson will end with an audience Q & A. Their books will also be available.
