The federal budget debate revolves around how much working people will have to suffer under this capitalist crisis. We will discuss how to fight against the devastating budget cuts. But we will also discuss the alternative to capitalism: socialism. Hear a report about the most common myths that the capitalists spread about socialism and why it is the only real solution to our most pressing problems today.

Imperialists thugs in Africa: Down with Neo-colonialism!
French forces, aided by UN “peacekeepers”, have intervened in Ivory Coast, France’s former African colony. France took advantage of the disputed elections to arrest President Laurent Gbagbo, a nationalist who resisted Western tampering in the affairs of the country. In his place, the imperialists have installed Alassane Outtara, a former World Bank economist, to the applause of the Obama administration.

Come hear a discussion about the real nature of socialism and western imperialism in Africa!

Maleantes Imperialistas en África: ¡Abajo con el Neo- colonialismo!

Fuerzas francesas, apoyados por los “guardias de paz” de la ONU, han intervenido en la Costa de Marfil, la antigua colonia de Francia. Francia tomo ventaja de la elecciones controversiales para arrestar al Presidente Laurent Gbagbo, un nacionalista que resistió el intervencionismo Occidental en los asuntos del país. En su lugar, los imperialistas instalaron Alassane Outtara, un antiguo economista del Banco Mundial, con la administración de Obama aplaudiendo la movida.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the start of the people’s revolutionary war in El Salvador. Join us for a discussion of the Salvadoran revolution and the rise of the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front (FMLN) in the struggle against a vicious U.S. client regime. Additionally, we will examine the contemporary role of the FMLN, which is currently the governing party in El Salvador.

We will also commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Bay of Pigs invasion. In April 1961, a group of CIA-trained mercenaries entered Cuba intent on overthrowing the revolutionary government. The people’s forces, led by Fidel Castro, defeated the imperialist-organized invasion.
