Once again there's a push spearheaded by the merchants associations to ban sitting on the sidewalk during business operating hours on Telegraph and Shattuck.
Claim the public commons for all and not just the privileged.

3-5pm Protest for the right to sit down and to oppose the criminalization of the poor.
5pm March to Downtown Shattuck Constitution square.
5-6:30pm Protest at Constitution square near Berkeley BART.
6:30pm People will head to the 7pm Berkeley City Council to speak out against the passage of the new law.
