What are one’s rights at work? Students will learn about some of the basic protections afforded to California workers. The following topics will be discussed on the following dates. April 19: Wage and hour law (minimum wages, overtime, breaks, etc.). April 26: Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. May 3: Right to time off work (family and medical leave). May 10: Alternative work arrangements (unions, collectives, etc.).
