An Evening of Comedy & Politics with Mark Steel

Mark Steel is a London-based comedian and author of the book: Vive la Revolution: A Stand-up History of the French Revolution. He has written for The Guardian and currently has a weekly column in the Independent and a lecture series on the BBC. His other books include Reasons to be Cheerful, Its Not a Runner Bean and What's Going On?: The Meanderings of a Comic Mind in Confusion.

This event is a fundraiser for Haymarket Books and the Center for Economic Research and Social Change (CERSC). Proceeds will help get activists to CERSC's conference in Chicago - Socialism 2011: Revolution in the Air.
