Stop The Wars At Home and Abroad - Bring The Troops Home Now!
An anti-war rally and march was held in San Francisco on April 10 in Dolores Park. Hear close to two hours of speakers from the stage speak out against war and a variety of other related political problems. (1 hour, 47 minutes)
Listen now:
After the rally, protesters went on a spirited mile-long march around the Mission, followed by a shorter group of speakers back in Dolores Park. The message was clear. Stop all the wars, bring all the troops home now. Stop the attacks on workers. Use the war money for human needs at home such as healthcare, housing, education, and jobs. Stop the U.S. government's interference in other country's affairs, especially in the Middle East. Free political prisoners.
The rally was sponsored by the United Antiwar Committee (UNAC) and endorsed by hundreds of social justice organizations. A full list of supporting organizations is available at wwwunacpeace.org.

I go to Antiwar.com first for breaking news on Libya and other colonialist military activity. So it was disappointing to see that editor Raimundo and associates let their political biases trump their news sense to the point that they refused to cover the UNAC demonstrations in NYC & SF over the weekend.
Every time I start thinking "well, maybe some kind of alliance or coalition with these "antiwar republicans" might be possible after all", they do something like this. Oh well.
Didn't know there were anymore anti-war protests since Obama became president. It must be frustrating for you guys now that you don't get any national publicity. Seems noone in the press cares about your opinions now that you can't hurt George W. Bush. Stay strong! Stay consistent!
