"We Are One Rally" Sacramento
The rally was kicked off at Cesar Chavez Park on the corner of 10th & Ist in Sacramento. Supporters of labor stood in solidarity with Wisconsin workers and workers from many other states who are being attacked by the right wing.
People lined both sides of I St. street for four blocks in front of Sacramento’s federal building, court house and jail. I St is also a main artery for a major freeway entrance which the rally slowed and jamed up 5:00pm commuter traffic.
The rally couldn't be missed by people headed home from work, lot's of honking and raised fist in support, though main stream media in Sacramento gave little to no coverage of the event. No surprise there!
