The first of 3 meetings on reading and discussion of Dr. Mazin Qumsiyeh's latest book. Qumsiyeh lives in Beit Sahour near Bethlehem and is actively involved in the nonviolent resistance with the Bi'lin. He is the chairman of the board of the Palestinian Center for Rapprochement Between Peoples and coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Beit Sahour. He teaches and does research in medical genetics at Bethlehem and Bir Zeit Universities. He has written several other books, most famously "Sharing the Land of Canaan".
