Regenerating Solutions Salon: Swapping and Sharing

Sharing, swapping, bartering, building community. How can you make barter and gifting a more significant part of your life? How can you overcome fears and feel at ease when sharing your belongings, and also feel comfortable asking to borrow from others? How might you start a swap event, community garden, or tool lending library in your neighborhood when you don't even know your neighbors yet? We invite you to join us for an idea swap with fellow community members, facilitated by Janelle Orsi, the creative and entertaining author of "The Sharing Solution." We'll exchange strategies for creating more sharing lives and communities, and discuss ways to overcome the barriers. Please bring your questions, experiences, and imaginations, along with a book to swap (optional).

About the Regenerating Solutions Salon series The Bay Area environmental scene is rich with opportunities to volunteer, take action, and get politically engaged. What's missing? A time and space for talking with others about questions, issues, and challenges that come up when engaging in environmental advocacy and personal action. The Ecology Center's Regenerating Solutions Salon addresses this through facilitated discussions touching on a variety of topics. Salons are free and open to anyone interested!
