Dr. Martin Luther King gave his life April 4th, 1968, while in Memphis to support striking city sanitation workers who were demanding recognition, respect and dignity. Dr. King called it a moral struggle for an economic outcome and stood with workers who were demanding their dream: The right to bargain collectively for a voice at work and a better life.

Today, that same demand is electrifying people across America. It is the claim of all people: The ability to join together for our common dream. Help us protect that right across our nation. There is no better way to honor Dr. King than by doing what he would do - create a new movement for economic justice. Join us April 4th as we stand shoulder to shoulder, coast to coast in solidarity to show that WE ARE ONE!
