For individuals and couples living with type 1 diabetes. Please join us to welcome speaker Joe Solowiejczyk, RN, MSW, CDE for a special wine & cheese reception and presentation.
Joe Solowiejczyk is Manager, Diabetes Counseling & Training, LifeScan, Inc. (Faculty, Johnson & Johnson Diabetes Institute) is a nurse, diabetes educator and family therapist who has lived with type 1 diabetes for 50 years. As a healthcare professional, Joe is able to translate his personal experiences into inspirational and practical advice. He specializes in assessing how family and relationship dynamics impact the management of diabetes and designs interventions that result in more effective coping and optimal metabolic control.
For adults with Type 1 Diabetes. Cost is free.
