The Santa Cruz Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union Board of Directors has scheduled an open to the public meeting Tuesday March 22 at 7 PM in the Louden Nelson Center, Room 1.

The last indicated meeting of the ACLU of Santa Cruz County, CA appears to have been April 19, 2010. Their website has been down for months, but it still says "Defending the Bill of Rights in Santa Cruz County" on the homepage: http://www.aclusantacruz.org.

§Hammer Of Justice
by Bob Lamonica
Tonight, dereliction of duty and subversion of purpose will be alleged, and that no amount of lipstick on the pig will remediate the situation sufficiently.

Bob Lamonica (that's me) is first on the agenda for a presentation on "Santa Cruz Chapter ACLU Local Application Of Values." The talk will challenge the role of the local chapter and focus on several well known test of principles case studies.

The Santa Cruz Chapter of the ACLU has lent its credibility to abuse of power by silent complacency, and in some cases its compromised leadership has publicly denounced individuals they do not like engaged in civil rights challenges.
