For 10 years, FACES has worked to pressure US-based polluters to take accountability for toxic impacts in the Philippines. Fueled by the energy of our supporters, we are excited to continue moving forward through '11 and beyond!
This biannual conference brings together supporters, allies, and folks who care about environmental and social justice across borders. Come to:
* deepen awareness of environmental justice issues and
efforts that connect the US and Philippines
* learn about FACES' Chevron accountability campaign and ways to take action
* hear from guests Jessica Tovar (Communities for a Better Environment), Jeanelle Ablola (Philippine Solidarity Task Force), Filipino Advocates for Justice, Women for Genuine Security, and more!
* 930-10am On-site registration and welcome
* 10-430pm Panel discussions on environmental justice,
Fil/Am organizing, an engaging workshop on big oil, climate, and Chevron
$10-$30, no one turned away for funds. Includes registration, materials, and food.
