Scheduled speakers include Assemblyman Michael Allen, D-Santa Rosa, Sonoma County public service employees, and members of the Sierra Club.

The Santa Rosa vigil is sponsored by SEIU Local 1021, which represents Sonoma County public employees. Other organizations supporting the event include the North Bay Labor Council, the California State University Faculty Association at Sonoma State University, Sonoma County Conservation Action, and the Sonoma County Living Wage Coalition.
