Revolution in Egypt: Why it is being felt around the World
Sharat G. Lin is president of the San Jose Peace & Justice Center. He writes on global political economy, the Middle East and South Asia, labor migration, and public health. He just spent a week in Tahrir Square, ground zero for the Egyptian Revolution. He will discuss how the unprecedented uprising unfolded and why it is a transformational event for the entire Middle East and the world. His presentation will include video clips of the protests.
