Maverick composer Paul Dresher- in collaboration with writer/director Rinde Eckert and mechanical sound artist Matt Heckert -built a sonic playground for virtuoso percussionist Steven Schick in which every object and surface is 'alive'. Schick - one of the world's foremost contemporary percussionists and founding member of Bang on a Can -plays large, invented instruments, noise-making sculptures and one-of-a-kind instruments. At the end of the show, the audience is invited onstage to play the instruments themselves making this an ideal outing for music fans and families.
