An Oliver Stone film documenting a road trip through South America visiting with such interesting and controversial presidents as Hugo Chavez, Evo Morales, Lula, Rafael Correa and Raul Castro among others.
Also present will be Martin Sanchez, the Venezuelan Consul General, who will introduce the film, speak about the growing South to South economic and social cooperation between the countries of Latin America, and take questions afterwards
There’s a revolution underway in South America, but most of the world doesn’t know it. Oliver Stone sets out on a road trip across five countries to explore the social and political movements as well as the mainstream media’s misperception of South America while interviewing seven of its elected presidents. Stone gains unprecedented access and sheds new light upon the exciting transformations in the region
A fundraiser for this summer’s Pastors for Peace challenge to the U.S. travel ban and blockade of Cuba. Proceeds will cover shipping costs for humanitarian aid and transportation for Santa Cruzans traveling with the caravan as an act of civil disobedience
Entrance donation of $5-$25 (tax receipt with $25 donation) - nobody turned away through lack of funds
