N. CA Organizing Public Meeting To Commemorate 100th Anniversary Of Triangle Fire

Events are being organized to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Triangle Fire in New York city. LaborFest and many other organizations are working to build these activities and events that will be held in March 2011. There will be a public meeting of the organizing committee on Saturday January 22 at 11:00 AM at the Mission Campus of San Francisco City College

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
There will be a public organizing meeting to help build and plan events for the 100th anniversary of the Triangle Fire which took place in 1911 in NYC.
We invite artists, historians, musicians, labor supporters/activists, videographers and journalists to participate in this important commemoration in
working class history. This event was important for women, immigrants, health and safety advocates along with human rights activists throughout the US.
There is a national effort to have events throughout the US http://www.trianglefire.org and there are now organizing committee in Los Angeles and Northern California.
