Since the coup d'etat on June 28, 2009, the peoples movement in Honduras has gained intense momentum. Thousands of human rights violations, especially against those who oppose the coup, have been documented since the coup and continue to be perpetrated with impunity by the current militant regime. The Honduran Resistance Front is calling for international solidarity workers to live with Honduran peace workers as accompaniers. Caitlin Roberts, who performs music as autococoon, is touring for 55 days on Greyhound buses this winter to raise funds for the work she'll be doing on the ground in Honduras in spring of 2011. She'll be performing a solo set at Firehouse 51 (Modesto Anarcho garage) on guitar & vocals as well as encouraging discussion about the Honduran peoples movement.
