Date:
Saturday, November 27, 2010
Time:
4:00 PM
-
4:00 PM
Event Type:
Protest
Organizer/Author:
Location Details:
UN Plaza Fountain at Civic Center, San Francisco
Your local anarcha-feminists invite you all to a solidarity march
starting at 4pm on Saturday, 11/27 in UN Plaza.
Recently at an anti-IMF protest in Athens, Greece, an US Anarchist was brutally beaten by the Delta Force, a special police division for anarchists and immigrants. Although she suffered serious injuries, she is expected to fully recover. In the following days as more protests continued in Athens (marking the annivers...ary of the Junta), several other Greek comrades have been brutalized by the Delta Force. We are having this march to express our outrage and solidarity with all comrades in Greece and to highlight the worldwide plague of policing.
In the Bay alone we've seen the murder of Oscar Grant and Derrick Jones in Oakland, Michael Lee in the Tenderloin and countless others before them. Caught on video we've witnessed police brutality against women this past summer (see links below) and we're fed up! Stand up to the pigs, join us in a march from UN Plaza to the TL Police Dpt., ending at the jail. For more information check out the articles below:
PS! Lets try and NOT get arrested people!

the SFPD shooting occurred in the Central Police Disctrict, not the Tenderloin!
Everyone who opposes the police state should come out to this.
Could Americans that visit or protest in other countries be added to Government's TWIC “blacklist” that prohibits certain U.S. private sector employment or fired for allegedly being a national security risk?
Where does it state in TWIC/SWAC Program U.S. Citizens that have job applications rejected or are fired shall be informed their loss of employment was the (result) of being put on a Government TWIC blacklist? Or that rejected job applicants and fired workers will have the right to appeal, because U.S. Government alleged he or she is a security risk?
HLS need only respond “national security prevents us from telling you why you were fired/your job application rejected? Currently HLS heavily relies on FUSION CENTERS that obtain and store information on lawful Americans. Fusion Centers nationally receive information from local informants whose reliability is dubious. Defective information provided by snitches to HLS mat cause lawful Citizens to lose their job or be rejected when applying. Americans need to be informed by HLS if their losing a job was the result of HLS deeming them a security risk.
