Join us for a screening of the documentary "The 4th Revolution" and a panel discussion in commemoration of Hermann Scheer and his vision of 100% Energy Autonomy.
For many people Hermann Scheer's name is synonymous with solar and he is known as the father of the feed-in tariff policy that helped turn Germany into the world's largest solar-energy market. Energy Autonomy was Hermann Scheer's ultimate goal that motivated his fight for increasing the share of renewables in the world - a model that has been proven viable, technologically, commercially and politically, as Scheer comprehensively demonstrates.
Using compelling images, the movie "The 4th Revolution" shows proof that renewable energies are sufficient to meet the world's energy demand.
Examples come from everywhere in the world, showing people that make their living based on wind- or solar power, biomass, hydroelectric or geothermal power, interviewing forward-thinking and responsible entrepreneurs, economists and engineers. The technologies they use are high-tech, intelligent and efficient. This movie shows investors who understand that a new industrialization is on the threshold, approaching the market with immeasurable growth. It will feature the creators and pioneers, who will also give us an understanding of the moral understanding of renewable energies.

* Hermann Scheer's role in inventing the feed-in tariff for renewable energies
* His Vision of 100% energy autonomy
* A potential path to get there
