The city of Irvine is dedicating the FIRST and ONLY memorial to ONGOING wars ever in the US. Like the Vietnam wall, it has space for 8000 names of dead military from Iraq and Afpak. It will be more than half filled at dedication, and will be updated yearly. This will be five dirty grey granite pillars at the corner of a formerly cheery children's park.

They call it honor and gratitude. I call it shameful and disgraceful.
